Ranja Dean has designed and completed a gorgeous cordwood outhouse at their homestead near Homer, Alaska.  Her husband Jeff helped with the building.

The cordwood outhouse is next to the BnB near their exceptionally gorgeous homestead.

The door (below) is absolutely over the moon and stars :0)

Below is a throne fit for a queen (or king)!

The Yak and Yow barn is also a work of art (you get the picture).  Ranja and Jeff have a very serious skill set.

As is evident from the picture above, this is a meaningful and wonderful land of enchantment!

The barn houses livestock (Yaks and Yows–the Yak moved away) and makes one think this would be a very nice place to lay one’s human head at night.

I personally like the way they used the cordwood infill on the bottom and board and batten on the top.  There are many interesting curved and circular motifs throughout.

The timber framing is especially attractive and functional.   Thank you to Ranja and Jeff for their permission to show their artistic gifts.
