Sunni & Jason Fine built an incredibly beautiful, mortgage-free cordwood home in the Ozarks of Missouri.
Note how the rock foundation blends in with thecordwood and creates a barrier to moisture.
The bottle log designs and patterns are cool beyond compare. This home is a work of art, to delight the body and soul.
Can you see the bottle waves in the walls?
Another excellent view of the stone foundation coupled with the Red Cedar and the beautiful bottle placement.
Dry red cedar, peeled, cleaned, sanded, and ready to go in the wall.
Excellent photo of the central cavity insulation. This will help keep the home warm and toasty (and cool in the summer).
The bottle wall shower is on the far left.
The roof framing is like taking a master class in building with materials from the property.
The mending plates show how sturdy and solid the framework becomes.
Outstanding close-up of the rafters and the mending plates.
The video (below) is a wonderful look at how and why Jason/Sunni built their masterpiece.
