These pictures are from a Polish website called Organica.  This is a log home building company that has started using cordwood infill in between heavy log framing.  The log wall in the picture has cob for the mortar matrix and is colored with potter’s dyes.  This is an example of a gorgeous sauna with heavy log framing and cordwood infill from Polish Organica builder Mateusz Szwagierczak.

The large windows and handmade doors are very attractive.

The Mortar Mix is cob (sand, clay, straw) is mixed with a potter’s dye for contrast.  Excellent log placemen!

The style used for the cordwood sauna is called a double pumpkin.  As you look from a drone view you see two roundish pumpkins.

This is the resting area to sit and cool off after a good, hot sauna.

This is an interior wall that showcases excellent cordwood placement using cob mortar. Photos are used with permission.
