Noah Bly built this gorgeous cordwood sauna in Maine.  He made all the doors and fabricated the hinges with rock-solid blacksmithing and mudded all the walls. The Sauna is an excellent example of a simple shed design.  The building is relatively easy to frame and with the post-frame each “cordwood section” can be worked on within a manageable timeframe.

Noah’s artistry and exquisite craftsmanship speak for themselves.

Sauna benches make for a comfortable seat as you sweat your cares away!

Don’t you just love the nighttime pictures of the sauna?

“Ridge Forge Metalworks is based in Mid-Coast Maine. Noah Bly is a blacksmith and metalworker who produces made-to-order pieces and works closely with customers to create new designs. You can find the Ridge Forge shop in the backyard of Noah’s childhood home, up the hill from Turkey Cove. The house has been in the Bly family since 1875 and the people and scenery of the place have left a lasting impression on Noah’s life and work.”  Click on the link for details  https://www.ridgeforgemetalwork.com/
